First of all, thanks to everyone who worked at the Green Mountain Marathon this weekend. It was really fun and–let’s face it–CRT had the best water table of them all!
For those of you who weren’t able to make it this weekend (or who just can’t get enough) the Family Weekend 5k is this weekend and we really REALLY need your help again. We’ve got five people from the team so far, but we’re going to need more help to make this event work! If you can manage to roll out of bed and get to the Hauke Conference Room by 9:15 on Sunday morning, I’ll be eternally grateful. The event should wrap up around 11:15 in the morning. Sign up using the online form.
No race this weekend, since Darin, Bret, and I will be busy getting the Family 5k together, but we do have the Kingdom Challenge coming up NEXT Saturday. Please let me know by this FRIDAY EVENING if you’d like to do the Kingdom Challenge. It’s a cool and well-organized 5k and half marathon race in St. Johnsbury, VT. Check out their site to learn more. And don’t forget to sign up!
So here it is, this week for CRT at a glance:
Practice at 5. Meet outside the Fitness Center.
Evening Halloween Run to the local cemeteries. Meet at 6:30 pm outside the Fitness Center.
Sign up closes for the Kingdom Challenge next Saturday.
Family Weekend 5k sponsored by CRT. Volunteers meet in the Hauke Conference Center at 9:15 am.
