It’s October this Saturday, people! Now that we’re all starting to get in shape, let’s kick our workouts up a notch with a hill workout on Wednesday. Hills are tough for everyone but they’re SO DAMN GOOD FOR US, so come on Wednesday and see how far you can make it up the King St, Spruce St, and Cliff St hill.
CRT has two volunteer opportunities coming up in October. We hope that all runners will participate in at least one of the events, as a way to say thanks for all of the free races. They are a fun way to hang out with your fellow CRT runners and get to know your teammates better!
The first volunteer opportunity is working a water station at the Green Mountain Marathon on Sunday, October 16th. Our own Brian Culmo will be running in the marathon and he needs our support and cheering! If you’ve never seen a marathon before, this is a great chance. CRT will provide breakfast. Sign up here to volunteer.
The second volunteer opportunity is Champlain’s Family weekend 5k on Sunday, October 23rd. Volunteers will be directing runners on the course, working the registration table, and clocking the finish line. This is a CRT-organized event, and we need your help! Sign up here to volunteer.
